Thank you for working with Allianz Musical Insurance. This page outlines key information about working with Allianz Musical Insurance. You’ll find information on how to place business and pay premiums, how your commission works, what happens with documentation as well as how claims are processed.
Obtaining quotes and placing business
Please call our dedicated Brokerline on 0844 893 9655 to obtain a quote or set up a policy. You’ll need to quote your Allianz Musical Insurance agency number which is found on your British Reserve Insurance Company Limited TOBA. This number is important to assign your commission correctly.
Payment
Whether you are able to place business on broker credit terms would have been determined when the TOBA was signed. If your TOBA gives you credit terms, a statement will be sent to you at the end of each month showing the amount due, net of commission. If paying via any other method, please pay the gross premium amount including the insurance premium tax. Commission earned is then paid to you with the monthly commission statement.
Commission
Commission is paid in arrears on a monthly basis. If your client subsequently makes a change to their policy which changes the premium, this is reflected in the commission paid. Any change requiring a premium refund will result in commission claw back. Commission will be paid on a monthly basis by cheque accompanied with a statement at the beginning of the month.
Documentation
Policy documentation will be sent to you to forward to the client. This includes documents for new business, renewals, claims payments and all other payment correspondence. Documentation relating to broker credit terms will also be sent to you. Claims cheques will always be made payable to the client. To order any additional policy wordings please visit the Documentation Centre where you can request for these to be sent in the post. There is also an option for you to download the document.
Claims
The claims process is dependent upon the agreement that you have with us. This will have been decided at the time you signed the TOBA agreement. If your arrangement is for all transactions to be processed through your brokerage then the claim will need to be reported to Allianz by you. You will need to get your client to complete a claim form and send it to us via email or post. Alternatively this can also be done by telephone.
Where applicable, you will receive a number of claim forms to enable you to provide us with the appropriate details in the event of a claim. Alternatively you can get the same form by clicking here.
However if the agreement is for Allianz Musical Instruments to communicate directly with your client, they will need to contact us themselves.
For both arrangements the contact details are below:
| Email: | Mi.claims@allianz.co.uk |
| Telephone: | 0844 391 4051 |
| Post: | Allianz Musical Insurance Claims Department 500 Avebury Boulevard Milton Keynes MK9 2XZ |
